10th Annual Easter Day Eggstravaganza

Miami is preparing for a fun Easter season … complete with egg hunt adventures and photo opportunities for the entire family. 

Easter is set for Sunday, April 9, 2023. But be aware that not all holiday-themed events will take place on that specific date.

Miami-Dade County

City of Hialeah Eggstravaganza

The City of Hialeah hosts a massive egg hunt, with more than 50,000 eggs hidden for the kiddos to find! Enjoy this experience and more on April 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Milander Park, 4700 Palm Ave.

The event includes live entertainment, rides and interactive inflatables and you'll even get a chance to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.

Tickets start at $6 for the egg hunt and also for photos by the bunny, $15 for rides and $18 for an all access wristband. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.

Easter Fun at the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair

On Sunday, April 9 the final day of the Fair enjoy an Easter egg hunt and throughout the grounds and at the garden and take photos with the Easter bunny. Fair admission required. Click here for info.

Egg-Venture at Zoo Miami

Explore Zoo Miami in a whole different way with this mobile egg hunt experience.

Egg-Venture will offer visitors the opportunity to use an app on their mobile phones to search for clues and find 6 of 12 eggs hidden throughout the walkways. Guests may redeem their prize of six treat-filled, eco-friendly eggs.

Of course, families may also enjoy the zoo grounds and animal residents! 

The event is free with zoo admission, which is $18.95 per child and $22.95 per adult. When you make your online reservation, don't forget to use the code ZOOMIAMI2023 for access to the event. 

Bunny Eggstravaganza

Event is from 1-4 p.m. April 2, at Westland Mall, 1675 W. 49 St., Hialeah. Join the Easter bunny at the topiary garden for a meet and greet, interactive activities, face painting, balloon art and an egg scavenger hunt at participating stores. Event is free but RSVP required.

Spring Egg Hunt

Event is from 10 a.m. to noon April 8 at Elaine Gordon Enchanted Forest Park, 1725 NE 135 St., North Miami. Egg hunt open to kids 12 years old and under with games, pony rides and prizes. Admission is $3. Click here for more information. 

Meet & Greet with the Easter Bunny

Event is from noon to 4 p.m. April 8 at Muss Park, 4300 Chase Ave., Miami Beach. Arts and crafts, treat bag and one picture with the Easter Bunny. Admission is $10. Click here for more information.

Easter Egg Hunt at The Yard

Easter festivities at The Doral Yard. Event is from noon to 4 p.m. April 9. Activities, including an egg hunt (basket provided), photos with the Easter Bunny plus coloring and word puzzle materials is open to kids ages 3 to 13. Eight time slots available between 2 and 4 p.m., limited availability. Admission is $10 (includes Easter basket and activities). The Doral Yard is at 8455 NW 53 St. Click here for more information.

Coconut Grove Easter Hunt

Event is from 9-10:30 a.m. April 8, at Elizabeth Virrick, 3255 Plaza St. A $12 donation is suggested to participate. More information is available online.

Event includes Easter baskets and eggs, photo opportunities, goodie bags and games and a take home gift.

10th Annual Easter Day Eggstravaganza

Event is from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 9 at Partners Park, 5536 NW 21 Ave., Miami with an egg hunt, kids zone, music, food and rides. Free Easter basket for the first 500 kids registered. Free. Click here to register.

Youth Activities Task Force Spring Fling Easter Egg Hunt

Event is set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, at Miami Lakes Veterans Park, 15151 NW 82 Ave., Miami Lakes with egg hunt, face painting, pony rides, a petting zoo and egg decorating. Admission is free.  Make sure to RSVP online.  

Easter Bunny Arrival

The Easter Bunny arrives on Friday, March 24 and the celebration goes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dolphin Mall, 11401 NW 12 St., Entry 4 then every Saturday from March 25 to April 8 kids can enjoy face painting and canvas painting from 2-4 p.m. Click here for more information.

Easter Egg Hunt and Summer Camp Expo

Miami Kids Magazine is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and Summer Camp Expo on Saturday, April 1, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at The Shops at Sunset Place, 5701 Sunset Drive.

Egg hunt events will be taking place at the following times:

  • Exceptional Kids 11:15 a.m.
  • 1 to 3 years old 12:00 p.m.
  • 4 to 10 years old 12:30 p.m.

Kids will also be able to enjoy photos with the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, music, games, prizes, and more. Parents can check out the Summer Camp Expo with more than 20 camps to choose from with special discounts. This event is free. For more information, click here
