If you're looking for things to do with your kids in South Florida this summer, consider taking them to a movie. It's a way to beat the heat, and a number of theaters are offering cheap movies for kids.
Prices vary, ranging from $1 to $3 plus tax.
AMC Theatres Summer Movie Camp: $3
Promo runs from Monday, June 23, through Wednesday, Aug. 14. Tickets are $3 + tax on Mondays and Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Also, they have added two more movies for a total of 10 weeks, and the ticket price is only $1.75.
CMX Cinemas Summer Fun Fest, $1.99
CMX Cinemas in South Florida is offering summer movies for kids. The movies run every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10 a.m. Tickets are $1.99 and can only be purchased at the box office. The series runs from June 17 through Aug. 7, 2025.

Landmark Theatres Summer Special: $2
This family friendly film series runs Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays at 11 a.m., Aug. 13, 2025.

Paragon Theaters: $2 Summer Movies for Kids
Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10 a.m. for a special $2 movie screening, from June through Aug. 7, 2025. Tickets are only available at the Box Office.
A $5 Kids Tray will be available at the concession stand.
