Kids work with their hands putting together fun projects at free interactive workshops offered in South Florida at participating Home Depot and Lowe’s stores.
At the workshops, youngsters build a toy truck, a photo holder, or other item. Parents or others are invited to work with them. It’s a good idea to register online, especially if the events are popular. For adults, the stores offer DIY home improvement project workshops in person and online.

Kids Workshops are 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. first Saturdays at Home Depot stores. The events are designed for kids 5 to 12, and parents are encouraged to join in.
