For a lively event with international flair, flavors and rhythm, Brazilian Festival in Fort Lauderdale features food vendors, rides and plenty of live entertainment.
The event includes a parade with percussion and Samba dancers, art displays and a kids’ zone. An emphasis on protecting the Amazon forest and environmental responsibility is part of the festivities.
Brazilian Festival is 12 p.m. – 11 p.m. October 8 and 9 at Snyder Park, 3299 SW Fourth Avenue, Fort Lauderdale 33315.
Entry is $20 per day, or for 2 days, it’s $35. VIP entry is $80-$140, including a pair of Havianas flip-flops and other perks. Entry is free for kids 11 and younger. Free parking and VIP parking are offered.
