Best things to do in November in Miami

Turkey, stuffing and all things fall and Thanksgiving are top of mind in November, but there's much more than that to do around Miami-Dade County.

The 50th Annual Winternational Parade in North Miami is a Thanksgiving day tradition with high school marching bands, dance groups, martial arts schools, Miami Heat floats with Heat dancers and Burnie the mascot waving at the crowds, fire department and police cars, and themed floats parading down NE 125 St. on Nov. 27, 2025 starting at 10 a.m.

Miami Book Fair 2022

42nd Annual Miami Book Fair, happening Nov. 21-23, does have an admission fee for the three-day street fair that closes out the annual event at Miami-Dade Wolfson Campus downtown but the first day, Friday, Nov. 21 admission is free. It's the ideal opportunity to wander and find great book deals with $1-$5 books available, listen to live music and poetry and author readings and enjoy Children's Alley with the kids.

Farmer's Markets are very popular especially in November when the weather is cooler, and you can find them all around Miami-Dade. From the Mimo District along Biscayne Boulevard at Legion Park and Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, to Pinecrest Gardens down south and Lincoln Road on Miami Beach. There's even an indoor one at Aventura Mall.

Attend the Downtown Doral Arts Festival, a two-day event Nov. 15 and 16 in Downtown Doral and see work by 60 artists and also student artworks. There will also be family-friendly activities and live art activations plus a farmer's market where you can pick up handmade wares and fresh produce.

Visit The Underline, a linear park underneath the Metrorail line where there are weekly events including a farmer's market two Saturdays a month and yoga every Saturday morning. They also host special events throughout the month and it's also a great walking, biking and running path.

And these are regular weekly and monthly events around Miami-Dade:

Jazz at MOCA in North Miami on the last Friday of the month

Cultural Fridays in Little Havana on the third Friday of the month

Soundscape Cinema for free outdoor movies on Miami Beach
