Boynton Beach is a thriving seaside community that is welcoming and active for residents and visitors alike. It offers a variety of cultural and community activities year-round. Many are hosted at the Arts & Cultural Center, the public library, at Oceanfront Park, and at various other sites sponsored by the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (BBCRA), the Historical Society or Harbor Marina.
Thanks to the South Florida weather, Boynton Beach always has something going on to entice families to enjoy the outdoors, featuring artisan markets, live music, food trucks and plenty of activities for kids.

History
Boynton Beach High School was built in 1927, the first high school graduation occurred in 1929 and the last graduating class of 15 students occurred in 1949. Thereafter, the facility closed and became dilapidated for many years before being restored and completely renovated in 2018.
In 2020, the facility re-opened as the Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center with exhibition spaces, dance studios, visual art studios with sinks, with access to a patio, a community playground and Kapok Courtyard.
Nature and Wildlife
- Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge: Paddle through the sawgrass marsh, spot wildlife, and hike trails.
- Green Cay Nature Center and Wetlands: 12800 Hagen Ranch Road. Explore the wetlands on an elevated boardwalk. 561-966-7000. Take a 360-degree virtual tour of the Green Cay Nature Center.
