Cox Science Center: Discounts and Fun Activities

The Cox Science Center and Aquarium in West Palm Beach is so much more than a mere museum and it also offers opportunities for discounts for many of its programs.

Last Saturdays of 2026

Frontline Workers' Discount:
Half Price for Heroes offers 50% off general admission for themselves and up to 4 guests on the last Saturday of each month. Valid ID required at time of purchase.

Who Qualifies as Heroes:

Teachers, Healthcare Workers, etc. (with ID badge)
First Responders: Police, Firefighters, EMTs (with ID badge)

Veterans & Active-Duty Military: Get 50% off all year, plus free admission during Blue Star Museum days (May-Sept).

Cox is also offering half-off admission on Sensory Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m. on specific days in 2026: Jan. 3; Feb. 7; March 7; and April 4.

Blue Star Museum
The Science Center participates in the Blue Star Museum program, which offers free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve, from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day, (with proper ID).

Bank of America “Museums on Us”
Museums on Us is a monthly promotion offering Bank of America cardholders one free general admission to select museums on the first full weekend of every month (Saturday and Sunday). Guests must present their Bank of America card and photo ID. Free general admission is limited to the cardholder at the participating institution.

Please note: Museums On Us program is not valid with any other discount or offer including Dual Discovery Program or during special events.

Museums for All
Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) receive $3 admission to the Science Center. Present your SNAP or WIC EBT cards and ID to receive $3 admission for up to 4 people per card. Valid for general admission only. Excludes special events and planetarium show tickets. Cox Science Center and Aquarium

Food Trucks are available on the Dreher Park Trail. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday vendors will be onsite from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This information is subject to change or cancellation so please call before arrival.

The Science Center is open year-round, except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
