Posted by: We know this attraction isn't exactly free or cheap but Lion Country Safari is doing something different this year, so we thought it was worth mentioning. It's offering a “get ready to glow” first-ever lantern festival.
Lanterns & Lights at Safari Nights
- When: Select nights, November 2025 through January, 2026, from 6 to 10 p.m.
- Where: 2003 Lion Country Safari Road, Loxahatchee
- Price range: $28 advance; $30 at gate; under age 2 free (general daytime admission not included).

Note: Santa will make special appearances on select nights in December.
This after-dark event features 60+ illuminated exhibits showcasing wildlife from across the world and a Prehistoric Land of Legends. Guests will be immersed in a glowing nighttime wonderland filled with interactive fun and photo opportunities.
- No live animals will be seen
- This is a walk-through event, not drive-through
- Rides and water park will be closed, but gemstone mining will be available
- Food and beverages offered for purchase
- No pets allowed and no smoking on the premises
- The park will be closed on Thanksgiving Day
