Lanterns & Lights at Safari Nights, Lion Country Safari

We know this attraction isn't exactly free or cheap but Lion Country Safari is doing something different this year, so we thought it was worth mentioning. It's offering a “get ready to glow” first-ever lantern festival.

  • When: Select nights, November 2025 through January, 2026, from 6 to 10 p.m.
  • Where: 2003 Lion Country Safari Road, Loxahatchee
  • Price range: $28 advance; $30 at gate; under age 2 free (general daytime admission not included).

Note: Santa will make special appearances on select nights in December.

This after-dark event features 60+ illuminated exhibits showcasing wildlife from across the world and a Prehistoric Land of Legends. Guests will be immersed in a glowing nighttime wonderland filled with interactive fun and photo opportunities.

Details & FAQs:

  • No live animals will be seen
  • This is a walk-through event, not drive-through
  • Rides and water park will be closed, but gemstone mining will be available
  • Food and beverages offered for purchase
  • No pets allowed and no smoking on the premises
  • The park will be closed on Thanksgiving Day
