Final free beach event with music & night market, Lake Worth, Feb. 20

Lake Worth Beach's free oceanside event will continue with entertainment and night market but there will be no bonfire due to drought conditions.

This will be the last event like this for a while, however, bonfires will resume at the end of turtle nesting season.

What to take

Pack your towels, beach chairs, coolers and s'mores kits to the Lake Worth Municipal Beach just north of the Lake Worth Pier. You might want to take a flashlight.

There, you will find a gathering in the sand from 6 to 9 p.m., weather permitting. You can make your way to the water or stay above the crowd on the boardwalk that faces the ocean.

If you are feeling extra festive, pick up some glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklaces from a dollar store for you and your crew.

Note: Dogs are permitted on the boardwalk, but not on the sand. Events subject to change. Visit the city's calendar link to at lakeworthbeachfl.gov/events.

Where to park

There is an hourly fee to park in the city lot just west of the beach. Overflow parking is available across State Road A1A at Old Bridge Park.

Location: On the beach at Lake Worth Casino Building and Beach Complex, 10 S. Ocean Blvd., Lake Worth Beach.
