Kwanzaa celebration at Spady Museum for $10 donation

The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum in Delray invites the public to its annual Kwanzaa Celebration 2-5 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024. It's a free event with RSVP to secure your spot at this celebration of culture, community, and unity. A $10 donation is requested.

Festivities include gift-making, art activities, storytelling for children, and food vendors, all outdoors. Embrace the Pan-African holiday's spirit with the infusion of the seven principles, starting with Umoja (Unity), a concept historically significant to African Americans. Event will be held on the museum grounds, the event highlights the seven principles of Kwanzaa with contributions from local families and youth, creating a rich and memorable experience for all. Hosted in collaboration with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sankofa Study Group, and Pyramid Books this celebration honors African culture and heritage in a meaningful way.
