Hispanic Heritage Month events in Miami-Dade
Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 each year marks Hispanic Heritage Month and with Miami-Dade's population primarily of Hispanic decent, this month-long homage means there are plenty of HHM-themed events around.
2026 Hispanic Heritage Events
Normandy Fountain, 7802 Rue Vendome, Miami Beach
Music, dance and hands-on cultural experiences with traditional Peruvian dance by Sumaj Tusuy accompanied by Los Hermanos Sulca, music from the Andes and beyond by Rum and Coke featuring DJ Kumi, and a textile weaving workshop led by artist Lucia Morales. Free.

Saturday, Sept. 12, 6-10 p.m.
Amphitheatre Doral Central Park, 3000 NW 87 Ave., Doral
Performances by folkloric dance groups, a salsa band, a mariachi group along with a Grito de Miami competition, empanada samplings and family-friendly arts & crafts activities. Free.
Friday, Oct. 16, 6-10 p.m.
Domino Park, 1444 SW 8 St., Miami
Live bands and cultural groups performing, a live DJ on site spinning tunes, family-friendly activities, local vendors and food and refreshments while supplies last. Free.
Saturday, Oct. 10, 4-9 p.m.
Main Street - Miami Lakes
Live entertainment, art and handcrafted goods on sale from Hispanic artists and vendors and traditional Hispanic food for sale. Free.
Miami Beach On Stage! Presents: Live En la Playa
Saturday, Oct. 10 from 6-11 p.m.
Lummus Park, 1130 Ocean Dr.
Performances by local Latin funk legends Spam Allstars and Afro-Caribbean jazz by Tony & The Kings along with world music sets curated by Aaron Brown (Mr. Brown), Miami Is an Island, and Tiki Tumbao Records (Travis Acker and Lula Rios). Plus, an outdoor record fair with vinyl records from across Latin America and the Hispanic diaspora and pin-making workshop with Cut and Destroy. Free.
Miami Beach Salsa Fest 12
Sunday, Oct. 11, 5-8 p.m.
Miami Beach Bandshell, 7275 Collins Ave., Miami Beach.
Melina Almodovar and her Orchestra return to host and perform with salsa dance lessons for all ages and a seniors salsa dance contest.
