Free events at Miami Beach Bandshell

The Miami Beach Bandshell is one of the city's busiest venues where free music and dance performances are regularly presented. The open-air location provides a gorgeous snapshot of Miami Beach and is just steps from the water.

Here's what's coming up that's free:

North Beach Social: Dav Julca and Friends
Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 8 p.m.
Dav Julca is a singer, musician, producer and songwriter who has worked with a who’s who of Latin and pop stars, as well as thrived on launching new talent. As a solo artist he combines sounds of salsa, bolero, pop, funk, jazz, urban, and Latin rhythms. He is a six-time Latin Grammy and two-time Grammy nominee and two-time Latin Grammy winner. Etienne Charles' Creole Soul at Fete de la Musique
Friday, June 21, 2024 at 8 p.m.
Jazz master Etienne Charles is an artist who searches for untold stories and sounds to tell via his lush trumpet sound, varied compositional textures and pulsating percussive grooves. His Creole Soul project is his deep dive into the pan-Caribbean interconnected musical forms. Fête de la Musique is the annual global day of music, originally begun in Paris, to welcome summer with free music. Click here for free RSVP.
 
July 4th Roller Disco
Thursday, July 4, 2024 from 5-9 p.m.
Celebrate Independence Day with a spin around the Bandshell, featuring tunes by Lolo & DJ Hottpants of Sweat Records. Free admission, bring your own skates or blades. Enjoy tunes even without skates from the Club Box Deck. Skate rental will be available (Free for Miami Beach residents with ID). Bandshell Park also features the City of Miami Beach’s annual Fire on the Fourth family friendly events all day, leading up to the spectacular fireworks / drone show on the beach at 9 p.m. Click here for free RSVP.

Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 8 p.m.
Gilsons is the musical partnership of Francisco, João and José Gil, all sons and grandsons of Brazilian music legend Gilberto Gil. Blending pop, samba, reggae, and Bahiano rhythms. Click here for free RSVP.
 
North Beach Social: Jacuzzi Boys
Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 8 p.m.
Local trio will perform music from their four full-length albums as well as from their EPs “Dipped” and “Glue.” They've toured with the likes of Iggy Pop, Black Lips, Vampire Weekend and King Khan and the Shrines. Click here for free RSVP.
 
 
XIX International Ballet Festival
Sunday, July 28 at 5 p.m.
A dance marathon featuring exceptional young ballet and contemporary dancers from various local and national ballet schools performing solos and pieces from famous ballets and new contemporary choreography. RSVP here for free tickets. Click here for free RSVP.
