Free Summer Social: All-day kickoff for seasonal events at CityPlace

Summer break traditionally starts with Memorial Day and CityPlace is kicking off the holiday weekend and the playful season with a full day's worth of family fun.

Summer Social at CityPlace on Saturday, May 24, 2025, features a day filled with activities for all ages. 

Schedule includes the following from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.:

• Live music with steel drum
• Yoga Fitness sessions
• Dry Ice Demo by Cox Science Center and Aquarium
• Bug Out with ZenHippo
• Rohi’s Readery activities with storytelling, play therapy
• The Suede Suite Collective, vinyl DJs spinning
