The Miami Design District and Arts Encounters are offering free guided tours of the neighborhood’s world-renowned public art and architecture.
The tours are led by Thom Wheeler Castillo, an art ambassador and educator at various cultural institutions. Castillo has worked with the Peréz Art Museum Miami (PAMM); O, Miami Poetry Festival; HistoryMiami; A.I.R.I.E. (Artist in Residence in the Everglades); the Rubell Museum; and the Department of Reflection.

During his tours, offered every Saturday from 5-6 p.m., you’ll explore the following spots.
- One of the area’s many galleries.
- Outdoor works of art and murals including:
- “Jungle” by 2×4
- “Dollar a Gallon” by Virgil Abloh
- “Bus Stop” by Urs Fischer
- Unique architecture.

Fly’s Eye Dome at Palm Court
All tours begin at “Fly’s Eye Dome,” Palm Court, 140 NE 39th St. Currently, tours are limited to 10 people, and face coverings are required. For more information, click here.
