Free ‘Family Affair,’ Delray Beach

The Spady Museum is hosting a backyard barbecue and the public is invited.

What: A Family Affair, “a reunion-style event”

Where: Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, 170 NW 5th Ave., Delray Beach

Speakers will engage the audience with accounts of Florida’s history, which includes news of the emancipation of enslaved people that reached the state’s citizens on May 20, 1865.
