Free ArtLit 2022 to feature family activities & live performances in Pompano Beach

Admission is free for ArtLit 2022, a popular family event featuring art activities, live performances and puppets in Pompano Beach.

ArtLit, presented by Pompano Beach and the Broward County Library System, will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Pompano Beach branch, 50 W. Atlantic Blvd.

Outdoor festivities will include:

  • Story Time Tent
  • Photo opportunities, including 3D photo frame
  • Simply Puppets with David Goboff
  • Painting instruction
  • Lion Dance performance by Coral Springs Chinese Cultural Association
  • Saxophonist Randy Corinthian
  • Exit 36 Slam Poetry Team
  • Music Meets Art – live drawing & music
  • Chalk art

  • First Baptist Church, 138 NE First St., Pompano Beach
  • City Parking Lot, Southwest First Court and First Street
  • Ride share pickup/drop-off at Spanx the Hog BBQ, 147 S. Cypress Road, Pompano Beach
