Everglades Outpost holiday events are still a 'go' for $5

The good news is that the weather won't change these upcoming events. So, whether you are looking for some arts and crafts at Santa's workshop or a holiday movie and pajama party, Everglades Outpost has just the thing. Normal hours of operation are Friday through Tuesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. But Saturdays in December, the Outpost will keep the gates open from 5 to 7 p.m. for some special holiday activities for only $5 per person.

Saturday, Dec. 23, Movie night and pajama party, showing “The Polar Express.” (Film will be projected in the show area that overlooks the alligator lagoon.)
