If you've ever visited the Far East, you understand the attraction of street vendors and the value of street food, from dim sum and pork belly scallion pancakes to Peking duck rolls, you understand how the tasty, mobile edibles are the mainstay of Asian culinary culture. In honor of that tradition, Smorgasburg Miami is hosting the mother of all street fairs, with dishes from Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, China, Korea and more. Admission is free.
- When: Saturday-Sunday, July 29-30, from 4 to 11 p.m.
- Where: Smorgasburg Miami, 2600 NW 2nd Ave., Miami, FL 33127
Cultural workshops consist of origami and Japanese flower arrangements; musical acts feature breakdancer Justin Medina and taiko drumming, plus karaoke sessions to top off the night.
