Get jazzy in the new year at the Sixth Annual South Beach Jazz Festival, coming to Miami Beach from Jan. 7-9, 2022!
The festival takes place throughout multiple venues in Miami Beach, and most performances are free and open to the public – making it a great weekend activity to enjoy with anyone who enjoys hearing the sounds of Jazz music live in the city.
Power Access, the nonprofit organization that produces the annual South Beach Jazz Festival, in association with The Rhythm Foundation, has announced the full line-up for this year’s edition, and it’s a great one!

If you’re planning a special weekend and are open to splurging a bit on tickets for other festival events, try the “Festival Founders Evening,” on Thursday, Jan. 6, at 8:30 p.m. It features an evening with Grammy Award winners Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Aymée Nuviola at the Faena Theater, 3201 Collins Ave. Tickets range from $50-$125.
On Friday, Jan. 7, at 8 p.m. is “SoBe in NoBe,” the official opening night of the festival. The Blind Boys of Alabama with the Donald Harrison Quartet will be performing at the North Beach Bandshell, 7275 Collins Ave. Tickets range from $35-$75.
The three-day musical event takes pride in featuring world-renowned musicians who also have disabilities.
