Miami Beach Classical Music Festival Summer Series free concerts

The Miami Beach Classical Music Festival will present their free Summer Series through Aug. 31 with concerts at various locations around Miami Beach.

  • May 24 & 25 at 8:30 p.m. at The Betsy – South Beach  – Miami Beach Memorial Day Weekend Festival of Lights. Performance of patriotic tunes honoring America's heroes with projection mapping on the building's exterior synchronized to the music.

  • May 30 at 8 p.m. at the Tides Building on Ocean Drive and 12 St. – Miami Beach Pride Concert featuring a lineup of guest performers and pride-themed visuals projected on the building.

  • July 4 at 8:30 p.m. at Lummus Park – Orchestra and alumni division singers perform a program of Broadway favorites and patriotic music including Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and “Stars and Stripes Forever” to celebrate Independence Day. Concert ends with a fireworks display.

  • July 10-12 at 7 p.m. at Emanuel Luxury Venue at 1723 Washington Ave., Miami Beach – July 10-11 is “Cendrillon” by Jules Massenet performed by the orchestra's Opera Institute. Then on July 12 Miami Music Festival Fellows perform a concert of music by Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven.

  • July 16 & 18 at 8:30 p.m. at Temple Emanu-El at 1701 Washington Ave., Miami Beach – Celestia – A Symphony of Light concert will blend 360-degree visual storytelling in the Temple dome with the full orchestra performing music by Debussy and Ravel.
