41st Annual Hatsume Fair at Morikami Museum

Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens will host the 41st annual Hatsume Fair on Saturday and Sunday April 4-5 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.  This festival celebrates the beginning of spring and transforms Morikami into an exciting Japanese festival perfect for the entire family.

Guests will enjoy live entertainment, including taiko drumming performances, martial arts demonstrations, garden tours, plus an exciting anime cosplay costume contest and fashion show. Activities planned for the weekend include martial arts; taiko drumming performances; cosplay and costume contests; Japanese street fair food vendors and more.

While you're there, swing by the craft and plant vendors, enjoy some Japanese beer or a glass of sake — and try some of the street fair food.

Tickets for Hatsume Fair

Single day passes for Hatsume Fair, purchased at the gate, are priced at $20 for adults (ages 11+) and $8 for children (ages 4-10) plus a processing fee when purchased in advance. Discounted tickets and weekend passes are available online at www.morikami.org. Museum members and children 3 and under enjoy FREE entry to the festival.
