Posted by: As a student musician, practicing your craft in front of a live audience is key and that's what the University of Miami Frost School of Music is providing for their students through the Music at McBride Plaza Concert Series.
The free outdoor concerts happen every other Thursday of the month from January through March 2025, at McBride Plaza, 150 Miracle Mile in Downtown Coral Gables from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Every concert will feature a different and talented ensemble from UM’s Frost School of Music.

Here's the schedule for the first three months of 2025:
- Thursday, Jan. 9: Puddley
- Thursday, Jan. 23: Frost Opera Theater
- Thursday, Feb. 6: FiddleHead
- Thursday, Feb. 20: Miami Guitar Duo
- Thursday, March 6: M3LOMANIA
- Thursday, March 20: Wildwood Quartet
The musicians chosen for the series undergo a rigorous selection process, auditioning for faculty who then select the top six groups to perform. The final group of musicians for the series typically represents a variety of musical genres.
This concert series is sponsored by the Arthur B. McBride Family Foundation, City of Coral Gables, Dosal Family Foundation and the Coral Gables Welcome Center.
