Free with RSVP: Florida Grand Opera SongFests in Broward, Miami

Florida Grand Opera is planning a series of free SongFest concerts this spring, to introduce listeners to the company's artists. Tickets are free with RSVP. 

The concerts will be performed both in Miami and in Fort Lauderdale. Here is the program.

SongFest 2: Lovesongs, A Musical Romance
A Valentine’s-themed concert featuring romantic songs and arias, including Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes.

• Friday, February 13, at 7:30 p.m. First Miami Presbyterian Church, 609 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. 
• Sunday, February 15, at 3 p.m. First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale, 401 SE 15th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. 

SongFest 3: Voices of a Nation, An Operatic Tribute
An evening of American opera highlighting arias and ensembles by composers from across the country’s history.

• Friday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. First Miami Presbyterian Church, 609 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. 
• Sunday, April 12, at 3 p.m. First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale, 401 SE 15th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. 

SongFest 4: Final Sing
The season finale, with favorite arias and ensemble pieces performed by Florida Grand Opera artists.

• Saturday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. First Miami Presbyterian Church, 609 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. 
• Sunday, May 3, at 3 p.m. First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale, 401 SE 15th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.
