Find a pollution solution in July, free for West Palm Beach city residents

Residents of the City of West Palm Beach are invited to participate this July in the Plastic-Free Challenge Giveaway & free film screening.

The free film screening of We're All Plastic People Now will be inside the Cox Science Center and Aquarium theater in collaboration with Sea Turtle Care & Conservation Specialists. The film is an hour long with a short panel discussion afterwards with Oceana senior field representative for South Florida Catherine Uden. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

Registration is required for the following to ensure there are enough kits and available seats for the film. General admission is not required to attend these events; more details & online form to reserve here.

  • Monday, July 1, 2024, 6-8 p.m.: Pick up your Plastic Free Challenge Kit at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium.
  • Monday, July 1, 2024, 6-8 p.m.: Pick up your Plastic Free Challenge Kit at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium and stay for the free film screening.
  • Monday, July 1, 2024, 6:30-8 p.m.: Only attend the free film screening on July 1, 2024 at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium.
  • Saturday, July 27, 2024, 9-11 a.m.: Pick up your Plastic Free Challenge Kit at the Palm Beach Zoo parking lot.
