If you prefer to skip the crowded beaches but want to do something other than a traditional poolside barbecue on Memorial Day weekend, here's something to consider and admission is free all four days. Visit the Amazing Art Expo from Friday, May 22, through Monday, May 25.
Hours are Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., and Saturday through Monday from noon to 6 p.m.

There you'll find art from Disney, DC Comics, Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Pokemon as well as collectibles, anime, horror and parody. It's part comic convention and part art show.
You can also meet well known voice actors and register to receive free prints.
Scheduled to appear all four days for meet and greets and autographs are:
- Jim Cummings, the original voice of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Cheshire Cat among others. He also did voices in “The Little Mermaid,” “Lion King,” and the animated series “CatDog.”
- Marty Grabstein, the voice of Courage the Cowardly Dog, an animated comedy horror series that ran on Cartoon Network. He has also appeared in the television series “Blacklist,” “Law & Order,” and “Third Watch.”
- Brandon Potter AKA the Red-Haired Shanks from One Piece!, the long-running Japanese manga series as well as voices in “My Hero Academia” and “Black Clover” and on screen he is currently starring in the Amazon Prime Series “The Chosen.”
- Jeff Brockton a stunt performer and actor who has worked in “The Scream” movie franchise, the feature film and Oscar-winning film “Sinners,” and “Five Nights at Freddy's.”
- Christopher Clark a licensed Disney and Lucasfilm artist.
Attendees are encouraged to cosplay (dress up) as their favorite character and participate in the Cosplay contests happening from 3-4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Contests are free to enter.
