Pompano Beach Holiday Boat Parade new date: Dec 21

The 61st annual Pompano Beach/Lighthouse Point/Deerfield Beach Holiday Boat Parade has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2023, on the Intracoastal Waterway.

The event will include more than 50 boats decorated with holiday lights, music and dancing. The  theme is “A Salute to Our First Responders.”

Grand marshals will be the Pompano Beach Fire Rescue department and the Ely Fire Cadets.

Entry is free for participating boats and entry is free at various watch areas.  If you want to watch online, the parade is livestreamed on Facebook .

Holiday Boat Parade is  on the Intracoastal Waterway, from Lake Santa Barbara north to Sullivan Park, 1633 Riverview Road, Pompano Beach.

Watch zones

  • Free seating is offered at Alsdorf Park, 2974 NE 14th St., Pompano Beach. First come, first served.
  • A free watch area is offered at Sullivan Park, 1701 Riverview Road, Deerfield Beach. Bring your own chairs.
  • Restaurants including Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, Sunset Catch by Mario, Two Georges at the Cove and Houston's.
  • A public big-screen viewing area will be at Mitchell Moore Park, 901 NW 10th St., Pompano Beach, FL 33060. Bring your own chairs.

The Atlantic Boulevard, 14th Street & Hillsboro Boulevard bridges will be in the upright position from 6:15 p.m. until the parade boats float by.
