Food trucks, vendors and lawn games at Volunteer Park in Plantation

If you're thinking about going out for dinner, perhaps you'll venture to a park. Food truck fare is featured at Volunteer Park in Plantation. Food trucks are at the park 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, and the events usually include live entertainment or a DJ, activities and games for youngsters and local artisan vendors if you'd like to do some shopping.  

Sit and relax. Or groove to the tunes. Occasionally at 7  p.m.,  line dancing is featured. 

Select fare from your favorite vendor, or mix & match. Fees apply for food and beverages, and beer and wine are among the offerings. Sometimes, events are postponed due to rainy weather.

Volunteer Park is at 12050 W. Sunrise Blvd., Plantation. Parking is free.
