For a fun, unique and relatively inexpensive activity in north Broward, hop aboard a little railroad. The train runs on tracks around a pond at Tradewinds Park.
Train rides offered third weekends
Functioning model locomotives offer rides 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. third full weekends of each month, weather permitting.
Tradewinds & Atlantic Railroad runs the trains. Kids and adults enjoy it. “It’s fun to see all the kids and them smile and wave to you as you pull into the station,” says Mike, president of Tradewinds and Atlantic Railroad.

- Weekend entry fee for Tradewinds Park is $1.50 for ages 6 and older.
