As you make travel plans, especially if you’re planning a trip in the next 30 days, consider a rental through Whimstay.

Right now Whimstay is offering BIG savings on Memorial Day Weekend travel. If you thought it was too late to book a vacation rental, good news! It’s not too late, and you’ll be rewarded for your procrastination with a better price!

Whimstay is a relatively new online travel service. It’s similar to Airbnb and VRBO (with a familiar user interface if you use those services) with one really major difference.

What is different about Whimstay?

Rental prices (for the same homes) are less expensive than on Airbnb and VRBO. Most of the rentals on Whimstay are the very same ones listed on the other platforms, but Whimstay requires the price to be at least 10% less than the other platforms for trips in the next 30 days.

In most cases, the price difference is more than 10%. The ones we checked were 15%, 20% or even 25% less. Super-last-minute bookings can be up to 60% off. (Check out these Memorial Day deals!)

For each listing, Whimstay includes a link to the Airbnb and/or VRBO listing for the same property on the same dates, so you can compare for yourself.

Whimstay fills nights that might be overlooked by other channels. When someone cancels last-minute or a property has a few days open between bookings, professional property managers list those stays on Whimstay at lower rates.

Where are you going?

On Whimstay, travelers have access to a diverse portfolio of vacation rental homes, condos, cabins, villas, and resorts across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, at prices the leading vacation rental companies cannot compete with.

You’ll also find rentals in many cities across the country and beyond.

Price Alerts

One great tip for finding the best deals as soon as they show up is to set a “Price Drop Alert.” Just enter the location you want to travel to and the dates you’d like to travel, and then click on “Set a Price Drop Alert.” Enter your email address and you’ll be the first to know when a bargain deal is added.

The Real Cost

Another plus is that the prices listed include taxes and fees, so the cost listed is the real cost. (Make sure to compare the real cost!)

Real Customer service

In addition, when a traveler reaches out to Whimstay’s customer service team, they will be connected with a real person who is knowledgeable and passionate about finding the right solution for each individual. They won’t be met with automated responses or a corporate script.
