Kids' activities are often featured. Food trucks are often included for purchasing refreshments.

Usually, Fourth of July events in 2025 are July 4, with occasional exceptions, including the towns of Lauderdale and Weston. Lauderhill is hosting an event July 2 and Weston fireworks are July 3, and on July 4, the town is throwing a parade.

Usually pets are not permitted at Independence Day events. It's a good idea to leave pets at home for their safety.  Dogs and other animals generally do not like fireworks.
