Parade & Family Fun Day in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

Lots of July Fourth events in Weston, Fort Lauderdale, Deerfield Beach and other towns in Broward feature fireworks, parades and live entertainment with bands and other performers.

For a different spin, drone shows dazzle the skies at some events. Many Fourth of July events are free to attend. Plenty offer free parking.

Inflatables and activities for kids and families are included at some events. Food trucks for snacks and drinks are often featured. 

Usually, Fourth of July events in 2026 are July 4, with occasional exceptions, including the town of Weston. Weston fireworks are July 3, and on July 4, the town is throwing a parade. In Lauderhill, an event July 3 includes a drone show and other amenities. 

Pets are not permitted at Independence Day events. It's a good idea to leave pets at home for their safety.  Dogs and other animals generally do not like fireworks.

Fourth of July events in 2026 in Broward

Weston 

Weston is offering family entertainment, games and fireworks 6 p.m.  to 9 p.m. Friday, July 3, at Weston Regional Park. The event includes:

Weston Regional Park is at 20200 Saddle Club Road, Weston. Entry is free. Parking is free.

Parade

Weston Hometown Parade is 10:30 a.m. July 4 with the route starting on Town Center Boulevard and Three Village Road, east to Bonaventure Boulevard, winding through Weston Town Center along Bell Tower Lane.

Lauderhill

Drones, entertainment and a bounce house are featured at free patriotic event 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, July 3, at Lauderhill Sports Park, 7500 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Lauderhill 33319. Food trucks will be at the event. Entry is free.

Pompano Beach

July Fourth Fireworks Spectacular in Pompano Beach is 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. July 4 on the beach south of the pier, 222 N. Pompano Beach Boulevard 33062.

Entertainment includes:

• Drew from Y100
• JAM-X The Band performs  R&B
• Surfin’ Rascals performs Beach Boys favorites

Fireworks are at 9 p.m.

Bring your own seats or blankets. No drones. No fireworks. No pets. No glass. No alcohol. Parking is at the end of Atlantic Boulevard and A1A. Street parking and the beach garage are available. Parking rates at meters are $4 an hour. The fee for parking at the pier parking garage is $20 cash.

Sunrise

Sunrise features a parade, fun day and event with entertainment and fireworks.

Parade & Family Fun Day is 9 a.m. to noon July 4, featuring a parade with floats. The parade will travel west on Sunset Strip from Northwest 12th Street to the park at 6600 Sunset Strip.

At the park, festivities include refreshments, food vendors, and fun zone for kids including an inflatable water slide & rock wall. The park features a playground and splash pad. Entry is free. Parking is at the park and Village Elementary School, 2100 NW 70th Avenue.

Entertainment & fireworks

Entertainment and fireworks are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. July 4 outdoors at the Amerant Bank Arena, One Panther Parkway, Sunrise. The event includes a fun zone for youngsters, food and drink vendors, entertainment & fireworks. Free entry. Free parking. Phone 954-747-4600 for information. 

Entertainment includes:

• Higher Ground Band
• Fireworks are about 9:30 p.m.

Backpacks, alcohol and various other items are prohibited from the event area.

Pembroke Pines

Festivities for Independence Day in Pembroke Pines are 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 4, including rides, old-fashioned lawn games and art stations  Fireworks are at 9 p.m. Entry is free.

The venue is Pines Recreation, 7400 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines 33024.

Fort Lauderdale

Independence Day events and entertainment, including drone show and fireworks, are 12 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. July 4 at Las Olas Oceanside Park and on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

The event includes:

• Kids' zone with inflatable water slides and other amenities
• beach games
• 2 p.m. Sistas of the '70s, 70s hits
• entertainment including 7:30 p.m. Walker Hayes, country
• 8:45 p.m. drone show and fireworks

Parking fees for the event are $25 at the parking garage and other places.

Plantation

Plantation features several events 

Parade

9 a.m. parade Broward Boulevard and Northwest 46th Avenue, west to 69th Avenue, to NW Fourth Street, to 73rd Avenue. The parade runs to City Hall, 400 NW 73rd Avenue, Plantation 33317

Events at Central Park

6 p.m. Inflatables and games  

7 p.m. VTB Band

9 p.m. fireworks at Central Park 

Pack a picnic and feel free to tote lawn seats and blankets. Food is offered for purchase. 

The park is at 9151 NW 2nd St, Plantation 33324. 

Margate 

Fourth of July events in Margate include

• 9 a.m. parade on Margate Boulevard east from Northwest 76th Avenue to Northwest 58th Avenue.  Refreshments are offered after the parade.
• 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Pool Party at the Aquatics Facility, 6200 Royal Palm Boulevard 33063. Fees apply.
• 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Extravaganza includes food trucks, Smokin' Renegade band and fireworks at State Road 7 and Margate Boulevard.

Miramar

Dancing, DJ entertainment, kids' zone, games, food trucks and fireworks are featured 4:30 p.m. to about 9:30 p.m. July 4, and entry is free. Parking is $12.35 paid prior to the event online. The event is at Miramar Regional Park, 16801 Miramar Parkway, Miramar 33027.

Deerfield Beach

July Fourth fest is 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 4, including live entertainment, food vendors, and family activities. At 9 p.m. the event features fireworks.

The event is in the main beach area, 149 SE 21st Avenue, Deerfield Beach. Parking fees may apply. Feel free to bring blankets and portable seats.

Entertainment includes:

• 5 p.m. Andrew Morris Band
• 6:30 p.m. Majesty of Rock, Journey & Styx hits
• 8 p.m. Gypsy Lane Band, party hits

Hollywood

At the beach bandshell, live entertainment is 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 4 and fireworks offshore are at 9 p.m., with free entry. Parking fees apply. The beach bandshell is at 200 Johnson St., Hollywood 33020.

Tamarac

Tamarac's Independence Day event will feature a band, bounce houses and fireworks. 

Extasy performs at the Fourth of July event, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. July 4 at Tamarac Sports, 9901 NW 77th Street 33321. The event includes inflatables for kids, fireworks and a vendor hall. Bring a lawn seat or blanket. Entry is free. 

Coral Springs

Fourth of July event with bands, inflatables and fireworks is 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. July 4 at Mullins Park.

Bands include:

• The Introverts
• Should Have Been a Cowboy
• Absolute Bon Jovi

Parking and entry are free. Extra parking is offered at Coral Springs Center for the Arts and the Coral Springs Gymnasium.

Mullins Park is at 10000 Northwest 29th Street, Coral Springs 33065.

Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

Tamarac community center, 8601 W. Commercial Boulevard

Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

The town is featuring a parade, Family Fun Day and fireworks.

10 a.m. Friday, July 4 is a parade is from Town Hall, 4501 North Ocean Drive north on Bougainvilla, east on Pine Avenue, south on El Mar Drive to Hibiscus Avenue.

11 a.m. - 1 p.m. July 4 at Family Fun Day El Prado Park, 4500 El Mar Drive 33308, with face painting, water slides and bubbles.

9 p.m fireworks at the beach 

Broward Parks

Entry is free Thursday, July 4, at Broward Parks and Recreation regional parks that usually require a fee on weekends and holidays. The Broward regional parks include Tree Tops Park and Vista View Park  in Davie, Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach and others.

Plantation Walk plaza

Plantation Walk, 321 N. University Dr., Plantation 33324.

Kids' event 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. features sing-along with Miss Tracy, DJ and bubbles.

Entertainment featuring a DJ,  band and street performers is 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. July 4, and entry and parking are free. The featured band is The Long Run, performing Eagles favorites.

Plantation Walk is at 321 N. University Dr., Plantation 33324. No outside food or beverages. Pets are allowed.
