BAM! Festival, CityPlace WPB

Previously called The Square, this central hub of shopping, entertainment and dining is once again CityPlace. Along with the recent name change, comes a host of family-focused events, from music and dancing to fashion, films and more.

Here's a sample of what's in store in 2024 through Labor Day:

  • Bubble Blast every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as family-focused pop ups, STEAM activities and more. Fridays 4 & 6 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays at noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m., through Labor Day.
  • “BAM! Festival,” for Books, Art, and Music – Junior book, art and music aficionados unite during this monthly literary series on the lawn with story time and interactive activities. Last Friday through August from 5 to 6 p.m.
  • Science Sunday with Cox Science Center and Aquarium – Experience the wonder of science through new interactive themed demonstrations each week presented by the Cox Science Center and Aquarium. Every Sunday through Sept. 1.
  • Latin Dance Nights – After dinner reservations at CityPlace, things will heat up on the lawn this summer with a curated showcase of local talented Latin musicians. Fridays, 6-10 p.m.
