Broward regional parks revise weekend & holiday fees

On weekends and holidays, Broward regional parks require entry fees. Regional Parks include Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield, Tree Tops Park in Davie and several others that usually offer an array of amenities.

Previously weekend fees were $1.50 per person for ages 6 and older. Those fees were revised.  For some, the revised weekend fees represent a savings.

The weekend fees for 2024 are $3 per vehicle for up to eight people and $20 per vehicle for at least nine people.

For two occupants in one vehicle paying $3, the price per person is the same. For three or more occupants over age 6 in one vehicle, the $3 weekend and holiday fee is less expensive than paying $1.50 per person.

On week days, entry is free at regional parks.

Weekend and holiday entry is free for bicyclists, pedestrians, and horse riders. Horse riders are permitted at  Tree Tops Park, Tradewinds Park, and Vista View Park.

A ticket for 1 year of weekends and holidays at regional parks for vehicles with less than 9 occupants is $30, which is a deal if you attend parks at least 11 weekends and holidays.

Some Broward parks, such as Fern Forest in North Broward always offer free entry.  Information about the parks, fees and amenities is on the Broward Parks website.
