38th Annual Festival of Light at Main Street Miami Lakes

The holiday season kicks off on Saturday, Nov. 18, as The Graham Companies and Main Street Merchants come together to light up Downtown Miami Lakes and the iconic Main Street Oak Tree at the 38th annual Main Street Festival of Lights.

The event is from 3:30-7:30 p.m. and arriving early is encouraged to make the most of the Miami Lakes Farmers Market and explore Main Street.

During the festival enjoy live entertainment with two local DJs, kids' activities like meet and greets with holiday characters, face painting and glitter tattoos, free shaved ice, cotton candy, popcorn, arts and crafts, letter writing to Santa. And of course, Santa Claus will be making an appearance.

Also, consider bringing a new, unopened toy to contribute to children in need. The Neighbors 4 Neighbors will set up a convenient on-site toy collection booth. All toys received will be gifted to Giving Gators, an organization dedicated to distributing them to underprivileged children in the Miami Lakes area during the upcoming holiday season. Additionally, Miami-Dade Animal Services will be on hand hosting holiday adoptions for anyone interested in adopting a furry friend.
