Tree lighting and holiday happenings at Dadeland Mall

Kick off the holiday season with Dadeland Mall's annual tree lighting ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. in the Fashion Wing near Tesla.

Bring the whole family to enjoy holiday-themed activities for kids with holiday music by the Salvation Army Brass Band, special performances throughout the center, appearances by holiday characters, festive holidays treats, an indoor snowfall, and a special visit from Santa as he counts down to light the tree.

Plus, the first 100 children in line will receive a holiday gift bag and light up wand! Entertainment & activities start at 6 p.m. and the countdown begins at 7 p.m.

  • Caring Santa: Children with special needs will get an exclusive experience to sit on Santa’s lap and smile for the camera on Sunday, December 3. Reservations are required. Please use this link to reserve your spot.

  • Breakfast With Santa: On Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon, enjoy a delicious breakfast with everyone’s favorite gift giver, the only admission fee is to bring one unwrapped toy. RSVPs are required.
