Summer finale art event at Vizcaya Village and Museum & Gardens
The culmination of weeks of free community workshops with multidisciplinary artist Shawna Moulton is being presented in a finale event themed "The Fruit We Bear." It's happening on Saturday, July 25, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Vizcaya Village and Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Tickets are $15 for adults 13 and over and $10 for kids ages 6-12. The event is free for kids 5 and under and Vizcaya members. Click here to buy tickets.
It begins at 7 p.m. at Vizcaya Village, where you can create a paper lantern and enjoy food for sale. At 8:15 p.m., join in a samba parade led by the sounds of local drumming group Miamibloco processing across the street to Vizcaya Museum & Gardens.

There, along the Biscayne Bay backdrop, you will view the glowing, larger-than-life fruit sculptures and other creative artworks by Miami residents who attended the workshops. The display will feature papier-mâché fruit sculptures of orange, grapefruit, mango, avocado, banana, papaya, lychee, and carambola (star fruit).
Free parking is available.
