St. Patrick’s festivals, parades & other events in Broward

Festivities for St. Patrick's Day in Broward include bagpipes, parades and Irish dancing. Plenty of the events are free, including parades and festivals. There are also St. Patrick's Day parties and events in Miami-Dade and a calendar of St. Patrick's Day events in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Coral Springs

Blarney Bash with Irish food, beverages and entertainment is 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, and entry is free

The event includes:

  • food trucks and adult beverages for purchase for ages 21 and older
  • The Byrne Br0thers
  • Drake Irish Dance
  • kids scavenger hunt and other events 
  • face painting 

The venue is Coral Springs City Hall lawn, with free parking at the garage. The address is 9500 W. Sample Road.

Bring lawn seating and reusable water bottles. A water station is offered at the event. Leashed pets are permitted. 

Fort Lauderdale

St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival in Fort Lauderdale is 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Saturday, March 14, and entry is free. The parade, with floats, pipes and drums, and vintage vehicles, is at 12 p.m. on Las Olas Boulevard from about Andrews Avenue to Southeast Ninth Avenue.

The festival is at Tunnel Top Plaza on Las Olas Boulevard and Southeast Sixth Avenue, Fort Lauderdale 33316. The festival includes a kids' zone, food and drinks for purchase and entertainment.

Entertainment includes:

  • 1:30 p.m. Mudmen
  • 3 p.m. Aranmore Academy of Irish Dance
  • 3:15 p.m. Police Pipe and Drum Corps
  • 3:30 p.m. Drake Academy of Irish Dance
  • 3:45 p.m. Dueling Accordion Band 
  • 5 p.m. Ode to the Cranberries

Hollywood

Eat, drink and be entertained. St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival in Hollywood is Sunday, March 15, with a parade at 1 p.m., live entertainment at 19th Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, and activities for kids. The parade includes NYPD Emerald Society Pipe and Drum band. The route includes east on Hollywood Boulevard around ArtsPark up Harrison Street, to Dixie Highway.

Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

A troupe of bagpipers performs 7 p.m. Sunday, March 15 on a route on El Mar Drive and at Aruba Beach restaurant at Commercial Boulevard and the beach

Plantation

St. Patrick's Day at Plantation Walk features live bands  at the event, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at the shopping and dining plaza, 321 N. University Drive, Plantation. Entry is free. Entertainment includes DJ Mack, The Apostoli Floyd Experience, and The Radio Band. 

Restaurants & Bars

Lots of restaurants and bars are offering a festive Irish vibe with fare, drinks and entertainment. Here are several in Broward:

  • The  Wharf Fort Lauderdale, 954- 372-7606, is at 20 W. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale.
  •  Galuppi’s is at 1103 N. Federal Highway in Pompano Beach 33062.
