Discount spay and neuter for cats and dogs

Miami-Dade Animal Services provides discount spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats two days a week at the animal shelter. Pets older than four months need proof of rabies vaccine, or the county will administer the vaccine for $10. The service is for Miami-Dade residents only. You can schedule an appointment online.

  • Cats: $15 spay and neuter for cats on Thursday and Friday. Ferals are accepted.
  • Dogs: $30 spay and neuter for dogs for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The shelter also microchips pets for $10 and offers a number of low-cost packages for cats and dogs that include rabies vaccines and other shots, plus spay and neuter and microchips.

Cat Network

The Cat Networks’ Meow Mobile travels around Miami-Dade County to spay and neuter community cats for free or at a discounted rate.
