Restaurant chains that offer senior discounts

Many seniors live on a fixed income, so pinching pennies is not only wise, it's also become a routine of daily life for most of us. Eating out or ordering for pickup is a guilty pleasure when we feel like splurging, but even then, we keep our eyes peeled for special discounts.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average American household spent about $250 per month on restaurant meals, according to the Consumer Expenditures Survey released in September, 2022.

We've compiled a sample list of some of the most popular eateries and their discount policies.

An important note: Pay attention to the age requirements, as they may vary according to the establishment. We’ll continue to update this list periodically, but the deals may change without notice, and participation may vary by local restaurant. Always check with your local eatery because senior discounts listed here are only available at participating locations. Just ask for it.
