What’s poppin’, Starbucks lovers? Popping pearls are showing up on drink menus everywhere, including Starbucks. The popular café has so many options for customizing your beverage.
And, this summer, customers can give their iced drink an extra pop by adding mango-pineapple pearls. The pearls give your drink a touch of tropical flavor and added fun at the same time.

Popping Pearls Giveaway
From Aug. 20 to 24, 2026, Starbucks is celebrating the final days of summer by letting customers customize any iced beverage with FREE Mango-Pineapple Pearls at participating locations.
The giveaway is available for each eligible iced handcrafted beverage purchased, while supplies last. The offer excludes ready-to-drink beverages, bottled beverages and iced coffee beverages.
The offer open to all customers. Simply ask the barista to apply the offer in-café.
If you are a Starbucks Rewards member, add the complimentary pearls when ordering ahead in the Starbucks app, through your delivery order or simply by asking the barista to apply the offer in-café. (The offer is automatically applied at checkout via the Starbucks app — no reward needed.)
