Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival includes event with free entry

Food demonstrations for kids, wine seminars for grownups and live entertainment are featured at a food festival event at Las Olas Oceanside Park in Fort Lauderdale.

Picnic in the Park in 2024 is 12 p.m. Sunday January 14, and entry is free.

Picnic in the Park is part of Visit Lauderdale Food and Wine Festival, which offers several other events, including events that require tickets.

Las Olas Oceanside Park is at 3000 E. Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale 33316. Parking fees are usually about $4 an hour.

Other features of the event include food trucks and artisan vendors.
