Kids To Parks Day events at Long Key in Davie

Nature hikes and a scavenger hunt are featured at Long Key in Davie for Kids To Parks Day, a national initiative that promotes outdoor play.

Kids To Parks Day in 2024 is Saturday, May 18, and includes events in Plantation and Oakland Park.

 Long Key is  a Broward Parks and Recreation natural area, 954-357-8797, is at 3501 SW 130th Ave., Davie. Parking is free.

Events from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. include scavenger hunts, nature walks, and activities with a naturalist. The events with a naturalist, which are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., cost $5.
