A variety of restaurants and stores are participating in an International Dog Day event 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Shops at Pembroke Gardens . The stores and restaurants are permitting people and their dogs, and some are offering treats, and other festive selections. The plaza is at 527 SW 145th Terrace, Pembroke Pines 33027. Dog Day event is 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. August 26, and includes free Puppuccino treat for your pooch and pet vendors. The event is at Circle House Coffee, 727 NE 3rd Avene, Fort Lauderdale. Entry is free.
