Treat yourself to free holiday festivities and live entertainment at Broward libraries.

 Many branch libraries offer free parking.  Some library events require registering online.

Fort Lauderdale

Soulful Christmas is described as a retelling of “The Night Before Christmas” with a twist and a lyrical journey that reflects Black Christmas. The show features spirituals, soul and gospel.

Miramar

“Home Alone” film 3:45 p.m. December 16 and entry is free. The venue is Miramar Branch Library, 954-357-8090, 2050 Civic Center Place

Free Holiday Photo Shoots

Various library branches are offering free holiday photo shoots. Grab  friends and family, feel free to bring props, and pick your favorite backdrop

Pembroke Pines

A holiday model train exhibit is on display during November, December and part of January at Southwest Regional Library, 954-357-6580, 16835 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines 33331. Entry and parking are free.

Free Polar Express Family Night at the Southwest Regional Library is 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. December 20 and entry is free. Registration is requested. The event includes Santa, train rides and other festivities.
