German Christmas spirit comes to life with authentic folk dances, food and fun, Dec. 13-14

The German Christmas spirit will come to life with lots of fresh holiday flair, thanks to the American German Club. There will be music, cookies and crafts, rides and plenty of magical moments for kids of all ages.

Christmas Market

When: Saturday, Dec. 13, from 1 to 9 p.m. & Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Where: American German Club, 5111 Lantana Road, Lake Worth

Cost: Open to the public, all ages welcome; $10 adult; $5 children ages 12-20; under 11 years old are free.

Features:

  • Cookie Decorating: Decorate Christmas cookies with festive frosting and sprinkles, perfect for kids and adults to enjoy together!
  • Local School Performances: Enjoy live performances from local school choirs and bands,
  • Santa and Mrs. Claus: Share your Christmas wishes, snap a photo, and make holiday memories with the jolliest couple of the season.
  • Christkind: Meet the Christkind, a magical fairy-like figure from German Christmas tales who spreads joy and brings gifts to children. Take a photo to remember this enchanting encounter.
  • The Grinch: Watch out! The Grinch is in town, up to his mischievous antics and ready to cause some festive chaos!
  • Lantern Parade and Tree Lighting: Kids can carry glowing lanterns alongside Santa and the Christkind, winding through the market and ending at the big Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
  • Food: Enjoy your favorite German classics like bratwurst, pretzels, and schnitzel, alongside American favorites such as burgers, fries, and hot dogs! We’ll also have cakes and holiday cookies.
  • Entertainment: Volkstanzgruppe brings the German Christmas spirit to life with authentic folk dances. Join in for a fun audience participation dance.
  • Santa Sack Holding Contest: Show off your strength in this fun twist on a stein holding challenge.
  • Carnival Rides and Playground: Enjoy a variety of carnival rides and our playground area.

Event is being held outside under the pavilion and tent and will take place rain or shine. Free on-site parking at the club.

Note: Uber and Lyft drop off/pick up located at the intersection of Lantana Road and Myers Road
