Free Tri-Rail Safety Fair, family fun day in Hialeah

Tri-Rail, South Florida’s premier commuter rail system, will present a “Safety Fair” on Saturday, May 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Metrorail Transfer Station (2601 E 11th Ave, Hialeah, FL 33013). The event aims to bring residents and visitors together in a family-friendly environment while emphasizing the importance of safety.

Attendees will enjoy live music by Catabella Duo, photos with Tri-Rail’s mascot George Green, plus giveaways. Nick’s Burgers Food Truck will have food and drinks available for purchase.

The event is hosted by Miami-Dade Commissioner Raquel Regalado, and will feature local partners Larkin Hospital, Helbiz, Branches, and the City of Hialeah Parks & Recreation Department. All will showcase their contributions to the region and share safety information.

Eventgoers are encouraged to ride the train to the event with all-day weekend fares at just $5 and free for kids under 5.
