Free Rhythms of the City collaborative performance at YoungArts Campus

The Armour Dance Theatre and Miami Children's Chorus are part of a collaborative performance on Saturday, April 25 at 8 p.m. at YoungArts Campus in Downtown Miami.

Students from the dance troupe and musical choir will join forces to present a show combining the rhythm of music and dance to the backdrop of light of technology.

At Armour Dance Theatre, founded in 1951, they provide dance training to over 850 students annually, with nearly 600 on scholarship in five locations. The mission of Armour Dance Theatre is to create a pathway to educational and professional opportunities, for the youth of Miami-Dade County, through the study and performance of dance.

The Miami Children’s Chorus (MCC) was established in 1965 as South Florida’s first community children’s chorus and has, for nearly six decades, offered high-quality choral music education and performance opportunities for young people.
