Save the Dates! The Wellington Amphitheater is reopening just in time for Memorial Day weekend, Thursday-Sunday, May 25-28.
The Village of Wellington will celebrate a 4-day grand reopening to mark the renovation completion with a weekend full of live music tributes, food trucks, entertainment, bounce houses, vendors, games, and activities for the entire family and the community is invited for free.
Wellington Amphitheater is at 12100 Forest Hill Blvd. Free shuttle transportation service will be available from The Mall at Wellington Green at the Palm Tran bus stop, near Macy’s throughout the weekend.

Here is a list of activities and events:
Thursday, May 25, Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, 6:15 p.m.
The event will kick-off with about 18 food trucks from 5 to 9 p.m. and the playing of the National Anthem accompanied by the National Honor Guard, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony with Wellington’s Council. At 6:30 p.m., The Long Run, an Eagles tribute band, will perform. Entertainment and activities will include:
- Bounce house
- Costumed characters
- Face painting
- High strike test of strength
- Mechanical bull riding
- Ride on trackless train
- Stilt walkers
Friday, May 26, features Odyssey Road, a Journey tribute band at 8 p.m., with food trucks on site 6-10 p.m., with the following activities:
- Bounce house
- Face painting
- Fairy hair
- High strike test of strength game
- Magician
- Ride on trackless train
- Lakeside Market vendors
Saturday, May 27: Dirty Work, a Steely Dan tribute band, at 8 p.m.; food trucks 6-10 p.m.; and the following activities:
- Bounce house
- Face painting
- Fire juggler
- Glow stilt walker
- High strike test of strength game
- Ride on trackless train
Sunday, May 28: Turnstiles, a Billy Joel tribute band, at 6 p.m.; food trucks 6-8 p.m. No activities scheduled for Sunday. Food trucks and concert only.
