Explore Haitian Heritage Month through this complimentary group exhibition entitled “NOULA” which is coming to a close on Sunday, May 28.
The exhibition is taking place at Buick Building in the Miami Design District on NE Second Ave.
The exhibition challenges the idea of the Haitian experience and existence by bringing together contemporary Haitian artists who are disrupting societal standards of what it means to be a Haitian.
These artists are addressing stereotypes that represent biases, impacting generalized misconceptions towards the self and their own country.
The exhibit takes place every day until May 28, Monday – Saturday 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m.- 6 p.m.
