Las Olas Oceanside Park is offering free events June 24 and June 25 that include  food, entertainment and art. Vendors and face painting are included in the festivities.

  • 1 p.m. June 24 Chef Irie cooking demonstration

  • 2:45 p.m. June 24  cooking demonstrations with Taste of the Islands Chef Irie
  • 3:15 p.m. June 24 All-Star Divas Quintet
  •  10 a.m. -11 a.m. June 25  Socaton Workout with the South Florida Caribbean Conference
  • 11 a.m. June 25 Junkanoo Dancers 
  • 11:30 a.m. June 25  fun and games with DJ
  • 1:45 p.m. June 25 Junkanoo Dancers 
  • 2 p.m. June 25 cooking demonstrations

Las Olas Oceanside Park farmers market is at Las Olas Oceanside Park is at 3000 E. Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale. Information is online

Fees for parking apply. Parking information is available online.

Parking in the area includes Las Olas Beach Parking Garage, 200 Las Olas Circle, with a PayByPhone payment option using the PayByPhone APP. Parking fees usually are $4 an hour.

Taste of the Islands

Taste of the Islands is 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. June 24 at Vizcaya Park, 14200 SW 55th St., Miramar 33027.

The event is a food fest, book fest, art fest, and features live entertainment. Entry is free.

Art and Handicrafts sale

Art and handicrafts sale is noon to 5 p.m. June 10, and entry is free. It's at Miramar Branch Library. The library is at 2050 Civic Center Place 33025.
